Blackberry
A Blackberry is a mobile device which is – in contrast to many other smartphones – able to receive e-Mails via a push-service, to make them available for reading and to send them. The Blackbeery-technique has been developed by the Canadian company Research in Motion.
The data transfer for example is based on the standards GPRS, EDGE or UMTS. Like other smartphones the Blackberry offers also many functions beside the normal telephone functions, like e.g. a calendar, notes, address-book, task lists and much more. At the Blackberry the transferred amounts of data are compressed explicit to the minimum and so they can be transferred very fast.
